Name: Danny Messer Age: 32 Profession: Detective Investigator 3rd Grade Tattoos: A tribal 'Loyalty' insigna on his right arm. And a lovers knot on the inside of his left wrist. Danny grew up on Staten Island in a family ‘under surveillance’. He was close to his family as a child, and has a brother named Louie. He and Louie grew apart as they got older when his brother joined the Tanglewood Boys, a violent gang in New York. Instead of following the path of his family, he went to school and graduated top of his class from NYPD Police Academy. Mac Taylor chose Danny to join the CSI team against the opinions of everyone around him. Due to his upbringing, Danny’s way of handling situations is very street smart and unorthodox. He likes sports, especially baseball. And he likes to go out and have a good time.
